Product Overview

Iminodisuccinate Calcium (IDS-Ca) is the calcium salt of iminodisuccinic acid (IDS)—a next-generation, environmentally friendly chelating agent. Its molecular structure features multiple carboxyl groups that form stable chelates with calcium ions, effectively preventing precipitation with phosphates, sulfates, and carbonates in soil and industrial systems. IDS-Ca offers superior performance to traditional chelating agents like EDTA and DTPA, with the added advantage of excellent biodegradability.

Application Guide

For foliar spray, dilute the product 800 to 1200 times with water. The solid form should be dissolved in warm water to prepare a stock solution first, then diluted to the final concentration. Apply during pre-flowering, fruit set, and fruit expansion stages for best results.

For drip irrigation, apply 1.0 to 2.0 kg per acre per application for the solid form, or 2.5 to 5.0 liters per acre per application for the liquid form. Repeat every 15 to 20 days during the active growing season.

For soil remediation, apply 3.0 to 8.0 kg per acre (solid) or 8.0 to 20.0 liters per acre (liquid). Incorporate into the topsoil or apply with irrigation water.

For industrial scale inhibition and chelation, a starting concentration of 50 to 200 ppm is recommended for both forms. Precise dosing should be determined by lab titration based on water hardness and specific system conditions.

⚠️ IDS-Ca is stable across pH 3 to 11. Avoid direct mixing with strongly alkaline products (pH > 11) or concentrated acids (pH < 3). For the solid form, always prepare a concentrated stock solution in warm water before final dilution.

IDS is readily biodegradable, achieving over 60% degradation within 28 days under OECD 301B test standards. Packaging & Storage

For storage, keep the solid product in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated area with bags tightly sealed. Store the liquid product at room temperature in sealed containers, protected from direct sunlight. ⚠️ IDS-Ca is mildly irritating to skin and eyes. Wear gloves and goggles during handling. In case of contact, rinse thoroughly with water.
