ΠΑΣΠ has characteristic of polyanion surfactant, which can be chelated with magnesium, copper, iron, cobalt and other polyvalent metal ions after hydrolysis. ΠΑΣΠ has good scale inhibition on CaCO₃, CaSO₄, BaSO₄, Ca3(PO₄)₂ ,etc..

PASP is easy to adsorb or combine with metal ions, can change the crystal structure of calcium salts, and has the effect of preventing scale formation. It has a good scale inhibition effect on scaling salts such as calcium carbonate, calcium sulfate, barium sulfate, and calcium phosphate.
