PASP is an artificial synthetic water soluble polymer of high molecular weight, having the characteristics of no phosphorus, non-toxic, pollution-free and complete biodegradable. With the structure characteristics of peptide bond and active group such as carboxyl group, PASP has powerful functions such as chelate, dispersion, and adsorption, etc. and also good compatibility.

In Water treatment as scale inhibitor

PASP has characteristic of polyanion surfactant, which can be chelated with magnesium, copper, iron, cobalt and other polyvalent metal ions after hydrolysis. It has excellent scale inhibition and dispersion properties. As scale and corrosion inhibitor, PASP is widely used in industrial circulating water, boiler water, reverse osmosis water, oil recycled water, desalination water treatment, especially for water treatment systems of high hardness, high alkalinity, high pH and high concentration.

PASP has good scale inhibition on CaCO₃, CaSO₄, BaSO₄, Ca3(PO₄)₂ ,etc..

PASP is an alternative of phosphor-containing Water Treatment Chemicals and has better scale inhibition effects.

PASP can avoid eutrophication and second pollution in water system.

PASP is easy to adsorb or combine with metal ions, can change the crystal structure of calcium salts, and has the effect of preventing scale formation. It has a good scale inhibition effect on scaling salts such as calcium carbonate, calcium sulfate, barium sulfate, and calcium phosphate. The scale inhibition rate of calcium carbonate can reach 100%, and it can also chelate with metal ions, with dual effects of corrosion inhibition and scale inhibition. It is an excellent scale inhibitor dispersant, It can effectively prevent corrosion of metal equipment.
